  Aug 9   Gary Link, author of historic fiction set in Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania will be the speaker.  Aryl Bashline, BCGS member,  will present a brief vignette of how she discovered her Civil War ancestors using a family heirloom previously described as “Worthless.”
  Sep 13   Marilyn Cocchiola-Holt, genealogist from the Pennsylvania Room at Carnegie Library, Oakland, will discuss, “Genealogical Resources in Western Pennsylvania”.

 Regular monthly meetings of the B.C.G.S. take place on the second Tuesday of each month - at the Butler Area Public Library, 218 North McKean Street, Butler,  in the Meeting Room located on the Lower Level; meetings will begin at 6:30pm, unless the meeting date, time, and place are otherwise announced above.
