John Brooks's son James Moore Brooks married in 1830 Barbara Mason, daughter of George Mason of Beaver county. Their son John Mason Brooks was a Civil War veteran and later a butcher in McKeesport.

I am trying to find the connection with Martha Brooks Robinson, whose daughter Mary Robinson married John Mason Brooks in 1879..
