Notes: I am trying to locate Samuel's parents.  In the 1850 Mercer Co., Census it states he was born in Butler Co., Pa.  I have not been able to locate any record of birth for any of the family.  In 1855 the family relocated to Illinois but his parents were not with them.  Another family researcher, listed Samuels name as "James", but census records, his childrens marriage records, and his headstone list his name as "Samuel".
